Well, looks like Mother Nature has decided I need to turn off my computer and take a break from processing these images as there’s a nice big thunderstorm rolling in (seems like it’s coming in from the water). So, guess I can take a nap to try to get rid of my migraine and get back to editing after the storm rolls through.

OT: So, what the hell is it with vendor programmers that they apparently don’t talk with their own technical staff before heading out on a job? Received several voicemail’s today from work (and you can imagine how much I love being called on my weekend about work-related things). We’re making a change in our robotic systems at work and the vendor programmer is here. He needs the latest code with all of the changes I’ve made over the last 2 years. Ok, fine … told them where to find them and which revisions to use … etc. But don’t you think he could have talked to his own people and gotten the complete code packet that I e-mailed to them 6 months ago? Nooooo … why the hell would you do that when you can call me on a Saturday and bug my ass.

Ok … minimal pet peeve that I needed to get off my chest … back to processing.

Betcha can’t guess what I’m still working on. 🙂

Gotta go run errands, then hopefully come home and take a nap to help push my schedule 12hrs ahead so I can work graveyard shift next week and get up in time to watch Ghosthunters and process photos for most of the night.

Now, how often do my plans actually work out? :/ We’ll see.

12hr shifts this week are kicking my ass … hardly able to process anything and it’s pushing me even further behind. :/

At least today is my last morning shift. Next week I go back to nights … of course, too far into the night since I have to cover for another guy going on vacation. 5pm-3:30am … oh well, at least it’s only for 1 week.
