fashion show

I was going to post a few preview shots from this event, but there were so few shots I even cared to edit that I just went ahead and did them all during my lunch.

Next time I shoot a fashion show, I’m gonna try to talk to the promoter or designer and see if I can bring a set of lights down and shoot before or after the show. Oh well …

Ok … life has calmed down again and I can get back to processing. I have 3 studio shoots I need to get out and after that, Unwrapped and then Girls and Guns. Before all that though, I’m gonna do the shots from the benefit fashion show I shot in Bellingham a while ago.

[expletives deleted] Finally finished the fashion show images. About to run out to shoot tonight. Depending on if I go to the burlesque benefit show at the Catwalk tomorrow night, a temp web gallery of the images will probably be up tomorrow or Saturday.

One before work …

Switching schedules took a little more to get back into thatn I thought, so haven’t had time to process much. Almost done, though. Last to do are the Fabulous Furs (right designer?) images. So, hopefully with my day off tomorrow that will be it.

Got a few more done before work … wow, first night back on a night shift after 8 months of days. This should be interesting. 🙂

Storm ate up a big chunk of the day, but I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel for this show. About 30 more images to process and I’m all done. Way too much hands-on processing these for my liking … way too much. Ah well, back to work tomorrow night so time will be limited for working on images. Will be once again cutting back on the number of shoots I do until I can get caught up a bit more.

Learned a lot about shooting this type of show though and some “checklist” items to ask of the producers (things like, will the makeup artists be using translucent powder … will they be using metallic glitter … etc).

Ahhh … cable is back … dialup makes me weep. 🙂
